Death
So by now everyone has heard that Whitney Houston has died, unless you live under a rock or are deployed and then it's just irrelevant. Whether you liked her or her music yes she did have a great voice but she did like most famous people do and waste it on drugs. Don't get me wrong I feel for her family but what about all of our troops that have given their lives for our freedom. Did anyone hear about the deaths of our men and women in the service that died that day? Nope, me either but I did a little research, found out that 29 US soldiers have died this year. Did I hear about it on the news, is anyone giving a special tribute to them or their families? NO!! I am sorry Whitney married someone that may or may not have gotten her addicted to drugs but all the news about her death won't bring her back and makes things worse for her daughter. Will media coverage about the loss our men and women that so freely give their lives for us bring them back? NO but it's called respect and to me paying respect to someone that has giving their life for me is well worth it. Come on media please be fair and pay respect to everyone not just who you think is important. What's important to some is not important to everyone because if it was more people would be more kind, loving and mindful of what they do and say to one another!!
